Greetings as we face All Hallow's Eve! Are we feeling a bit macabre yet?

Greetings as we face All Hallow’s Eve! Are we feeling a bit macabre yet? Just wait, it’s on its way. This year, many are pondering: how did we arrive at a moment where Halloween’s most grotesque fears seem trivial compared to the bizarre events of ordinary life? Take last week, for example:
Chris Gallant’s bondage photos surfaced, Lulu Lovebottom held his own suicide party, and a fraternity leader claimed sexual victim status after an incident involving his own incapacitation. More disturbingly, on December 3, the U.S. will broadcast public executions via firing squad, a testament to a society descending into madness. Amid these unsettling events, Trump’s casual rhetoric about catastrophic city destruction raises eyebrows. As we prepare for Halloween, let’s remember that while frights lurk in the shadows, our daily concerns may soon overshadow even the scariest of themes.
On a lighter note, I’m excited to welcome my nephew for the weekend—who has triumphantly overcome his own challenges. After a harrowing health scare and subsequent turnaround, he’s now thriving. Addison, together with his partner, Michael, is coming to Dallas, and I hope you’ll extend a warm greeting to them. We must all remain vigilant as we prepare for uncertain times ahead.
