Coach from Rival Team Sees Walker Kessler as a Challenge for Lakers’ Opponents

The Los Angeles Lakers took a bold step by signing Walker Kessler as their premier acquisition during the recent NBA offseason. Known primarily for his defensive skills, Kessler has faced challenges on the offensive end. Health issues have also been a concern, having played only 5 games last season for the Utah Jazz before entering free agency. Despite these issues, Denver Nuggets head coach David Adelman expressed that Kessler adds a level of fear for the Lakers’ competitors this season.

Adelman highlighted the continuous pressure the Lakers can apply, particularly noting how players like Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves contribute to the offensive dynamics. He emphasized that Kessler’s defensive prowess is a significant factor in improving the Lakers’ overall defense. For fans worried about Kessler’s health and the depth of the roster, the acknowledgment from such a respected coach should provide optimism for the upcoming season.
