Irving ISD Proposes $952 Million Bond Package for November Vote
Voters in the Irving Independent School District will have the opportunity to support a bond package totaling $952 million on the November ballot.

Voters in the Irving Independent School District will have the opportunity to support a bond package totaling $952 million on the November ballot. This funding is intended for a range of building and renovation initiatives, including the reconstruction of five older campuses that are in need of significant updates.
The four-part bond plan also focuses on upgrading technology, improving cybersecurity, and enhancing overall safety and security measures within the district. If the bond passes, homeowners with a property valued at $340,000 could see an increase of $20.83 in their monthly taxes.
This potential bond issue would mark only the second in almost 20 years for the district. In 2023, voters approved three out of five previous bond proposals—the first successful one in 16 years. District officials emphasize the importance of these upgrades, noting that four of the campuses slated for replacement were originally constructed in the 1950s and 1960s.
