Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Fantasy Defense and Kickers

Welcome back, fellow fantasy enthusiasts! I’m thrilled to return for my second year analyzing fantasy football for The Sporting Tribune. My goal is to assist fantasy managers in navigating their roster decisions throughout the season, aiming for a victory in your leagues. Over the next 17 weeks, I’ll provide weekly insights, including waiver wire suggestions, rankings, and Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em columns to help you win.

When it comes to fantasy management, making tough choices is a part of the game. My Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em column focuses on players who may not be obvious picks but could significantly impact your lineup. This week, I recommend starting the Kansas City Chiefs defense against the Chargers, who have struggled offensively with a high pressure rate and numerous turnovers. The New York Giants also present a promising matchup against the Saints, and the San Francisco 49ers look to build on their strong defensive play as they face the Commanders. Conversely, sit the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, and New York Jets defenses based on their recent performances.

As for kickers, consider starting Spencer Shrader this week. For more assistance or to discuss your players, don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Twitter (X) at @JamesNewell96!
