LaFleur Shares Insights on Cardinals’ Nail-Biting Victory

In the 2026 season, Mike LaFleur has achieved a 2-0 record at SoFi Stadium, leading the Arizona Cardinals to a narrow 18-16 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The win, achieved on Sunday, proved to be a challenge, but LaFleur managed to outmaneuver coach Sean McVay as the final seconds ticked away.

During the game, the Cardinals largely controlled play, but a late surge by the Rams saw their offense regain momentum. Key plays included Rams tight end Cody Parkinson scoring a touchdown with just 52 seconds remaining, setting up the Cardinals for a winning drive. Coach LaFleur acknowledged the pivotal moment in his post-game remarks, expressing gratitude for Parkinson’s touchdown. This victory, following a four-game losing streak, has re-energized the Cardinals as they prepare to face stronger opponents in the weeks ahead.
