In 2027, the Savannah Bananas are set to showcase their entertaining style of baseball by hosting games at several prominent football stadiums, including Houston, San Antonio, and Waco. The Bananas have previously seen tremendous success in the area, selling out the Sugar Land Space Cowboys’ Constellation Field during their inaugural visit in 2023, and drawing over 40,000 fans to the Houston Astros’ ballpark over the past two seasons.

Their venture into Reliant Stadium, known for hosting the Houston Texans and rodeo events, will mark the first baseball games in the venue’s 25-year history. Scheduled for May 22-23, the Bananas, who previously attracted 102,000 attendees at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, are likely to fill the stadium, considering their past attendance figures.

In addition to playing at 23 Major League Baseball stadiums, the Bananas will also perform internationally in Monterrey and Tijuana, as well as adding stops in Winnipeg and Toronto. For those interested in attending, tickets will be available via a lottery system on the team’s website until October 31.
